Can anyone tell me about camping in June in the Colorado Springs area or Manitou Springs area or even Royal Gorge? Other considerations are Canon City, Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, Pueblo. We will have are boys with us, ages 9, 6, 5. Road tripping from OKC with an early start on day 1. 3 nights, 2 full days mid June. Then on for another long stretch to SLC, UT for 5 days.

Thanks in advance!

Is your question about weather? June camping can be a little chilly, but there shouldn't be any snow at the locations you mentioned. It's always cold at night in the Colorado high country, even on hot days, so you'll want to pack winter clothes. If you're planning on camping on a weekend, you should make your reservations as soon as possible, as campsites can fill up fast.

Where to camp will depend on what you want to do. Fishing? Hiking? etc.
