My son needs help getting to trailhead near Colorado Springs

My son and a friend are trying to do some backpacking in the CO Springs area. THe flooding has complicated getting to trailheads near Cheyenne Canyon. Does anyone know anyone who can help them out? My son doesn't have transportation; is trying to do some gap year traveling. Is there a forum where people can request rides to the trailheads. Back east there are forums like that for the Long Trail, Appalachian Trail, etc.

Thanks for any leads!!

Mtn Bikers are usually a helpful bunch, though I'd be prepared for some ribbing from having Mom/Dad help out.

There is snow in the forecast for the higher elevations. I hope he is well prepared.

Someone at the Colorado Mountain Club might be able to put your son in touch with a member in Colorado Springs.

Thanks to both of you; those are helpful leads. They've had a bit of a rough week and usually don't ask for help but I hear you. Their WiFi connection has also been spotty. Not good planners but I think they're learning to be.
