Parking for an RV in downtown Denver

Hoping to visit the US Mint in August (assuming reservations are still available) but will be arriving in an RV. The municipal website says that we cannot park on the street but need to park in a lot. Any clue as to which lot is nearby/might be able to accommodate?

Otherwise I'll have to call the 50 lots listed on the website long-distance to find out...

Park in any old lot. Take and pay for two spaces. Easy.

Not quite so easy, AllUserNames...Some parking garages have height restrictions and are not configured for long vehicles. We sometimes have trouble even making the turns when driving our long bed pickup.

See my posted reply re. parking at Union Station. Central Parking may have a surface lot(s)

There is construction going on in the area and it is not an easy area to navigate anyway, several very busy intersections with lots of pedestrian traffic. I suggest finding a place to park your RV where you can catch either the light rail or a bus that will take you downtown. Denver has a very good public transportation system - http://www3.rtd-denver.com/# is the link to the interactive trip planner they have for RTD.

Checked tptr's link, none of those lots say they accept RVs so I would be careful. Also, they are not close to the mint, you would need to walk to the 16th street shuttle and then walk to the mint from there.

Maybe Daphnar could check with one of these places. They will be familiar with the situation.
