Deal on a suite in downtown Denver?

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to get a good price for a suite in downtown Denver? I saw several reviews with mentions of suites going for $129/night or so, but I can't seem to find any such deal at a highly rated hotel like Embassy Suites. My husband and I will be traveling in June with our toddler and I prefer not to have to go to bed at 8pm. ;) I looked at Priceline, but I can't figure out how to specify that we want a suite using it.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Some of the Priceline/Hotwire experts can weigh in on whether or not you can specify a suite, but I don't think so. There is an Embassy in downtown Denver but I would be surprised if you could get down to that price level. There is also a Hampton Inn and Suites, but be careful there that you get a suite and not a single room - hotel name is a bit of a misnomer. Another place to try is Marriott's Towne Place Suites, which is an extended stay hotel but you can book single nights. I think you can likely hit your price range. Downside is that it's a bit south of downtown by five or six blocks on Speer. I haven't been in that one but the brand is very good.

Good Luck.

On a post from another Trip Advisor DE, I used www.lastminutetravel.com for a good hotel deal in Sedona. They usually have a deal or two where they don't disclose the name of the hotel online, but if you call them directly they are more than happy to give you the name. I was really happy with them and the discount I received.

I just received an e-mail for a suite at the Magnolia Hotel this weekend for $119. The rate includes a suite, beer/wine evening reception, and breakfast for two in the morning. The promo code is "LAST"

Thank you all, so much! A suite will make our little trip so much nicer, and maybe even let my husband and I have some privacy.

Thanks again!
