Adult Only Hotels

Hey everyone!

My boyfriend has been out of state for awhile and is planning a trip back to Colorado for my birthday! He loves the Glenwood Springs - Aspen area. I am searching for an Adult's Only hotel or resort in that area. They're hard to find... Does anyone know of anything? We're going to be there around the 3rd weekend in September. Help!

Thank you!

for adult only a given would be a bed and breakfast which is not a resort rather adults only:

I don't know if its solely adults but it looks to be more geared that way and that's Hotel Colorado:

and possibly also:

I would think very few families are traveling then with school back in session and too early for a break. Granted it's a weekend but I wouldn't anticipate much for family crowds then.

You might try Avalanche Ranch near Redstone, it's not really a family area. http://avalancheranch.com

Bed and breakfast inns are better suited for couples but many do accept children or accept children with age requirements. I believe all of the B&B's at the link Hatchpal gave accept children. I looked at them earlier when I saw your request. I agree that far fewer families will be traveling during the time of your visit. You could also check vrbo, homeaway, flipkey, etc. for a home or cabin rental. You can filter results by bedroom or sleep number to find a smaller vacation rental.

Maybe something like this although they are almost completely booked for September.

I have stayed at Avalanche Ranch and dogmama is correct about that area not attracting families. Redstone Inn might work if you appreciate historic properties.

Carbondale has some possibilities.

I second Avalanche Ranch in Redstone as a nearby, not in Glenwood Springs, great alternative.
