What are the conditions usually like at Steamboat at the end of March?

Should be a great time of year to visit. While you can't predict it, late March means snow is still good and temps warming up. Likelihood of powder is reduced from earlier in the year but nothing beats spring skiing in 40 degree temps.

Have fun.

End of March usually has full coverage on the mountain. Rarely an issue skiing most any runs. An exception may be: south facing slopes on a very lean snow year and very warm spring. (Does not happen often.) Have skied way more powder days at that time, than I have getting sunburned at the end of March. Fun time to come.
