Lodging with a pool in Telluride

Is there a two or three bedroom place to stay that has a pool? I saw on one website that there is a charge for parking. Is that standard in Telluride?

Parking is tight and pools are few in Telluride. The reason being, there is a such a short and relatively cool summer season. It never gets sweltering hot or muggy really. And real estate is also too valuable for the space that pools consume.

Yes, there is generally a charge for parking.

Some of the hotels have pools. For example,

Mountain Lodge has a pool and a variety of lodging choices, from lodge rooms to condos to luxury "cabins."

At 9,000-9,500 feet in elevation, those pools that are not heated are not very useable.

True, so do ask whether the pool is heated, for sure! I mentioned Mountain Lodge because we have stayed there and I know they have some 2 & 3 bedroom options plus a heated pool. But I have also heard the Peaks pool is the best.

Etta Place Too has a heated pool and two and three bedroom rental options in a tranquil setting at the base of the ski slope at the west end of town. Try www.telluridelodging.com

A great place to look into pools would be on the Telluride Tourism Boards website. You can filter the hotels by a number of amenities, including pools. Have a look here and the "find Accommodation tab on the right will show all the available filtering options: www.visittelluride.com/places-to-stay/hotels

We are all assuming that you are talking about summer, right? There are even fewer indoor pools in Telluride. The Peaks has both.
