Take a road trip from Phoenix to Telluride in mid October. Curious about driving conditions along this route, and in town. I have a choice of a rear-wheel drive sedan (comfortable road trip car), or small front-wheel drive SUV (not as comfortable).
Concerned about traction issues with the rear-wheel drive. Can I get away with it at this time of year, or is it likely I'm going to hit some light snow where the SUV is safer?
