Vail Plaza Hotel

Planning on staying at the Vail Plaza Hotel. Room options are Standard, Deluxe and Superior. Any suggestions on whether it is worth upgrading from a Standard room?

Depends on how long you are staying and the rate increase...the standard rooms are very nice (the entire hotel is very nice) but the upgraded rooms have a bit more space and (maybe?) better views.

We will be there for 5 nights. The difference in price from a standard room is about $40/night for a deluxe room and $85/night for a superior room. Are the views significantly better for the upgraded rooms?

Yes! The views are better in the superior rooms, the bad ones have a lovely view of I-70!!!

Pay more and request a mountain facing room!
