Beaver Creak Vs Vail

I had my mind set on staying in Beaver Creek since I hear its the "boutique mountain" but I see its much more expensive Is it worth it or are the 4 stars in Vail nice enough?

Thanks

Depends on when you are coming! In what way do you find it to be "more expensive"? Let us help you. If it is truly the place you want to stay we can make recommendations. Beaver Creek is 1/3 the size of Vail so there is much less to choose from. However, if you are coming to ski, almost all of the buildings in the core of B.C. have better ski-in/out proximity than most of Vail Village.

I am going next week Aug 2nd.

When I look at hotels in Beaver creek they are more expensive then equal starring in Vail.

I guess I should stay in Vail.

I actually like Vail better than Beaver Creek...it is more in the mountains and feels like it. Vail is beautiful and you will not have a bad time. Drive to Beaver Creek to check it out, maybe have a nice lunch on the mountain somewhere.
