Driving from Danbury, CT to Nyack, NY

We're making a one time trip from Danbury, CT to Nyack, NY during morning rush hour traffic. Question: should we use 684 to 287 west to the tappan zee or 684 to the saw mill river parkway, and approximately how much time should we allow?

Im sure you made your trip already..but I believe its 84--to the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Nyack is right over the Hudson.

This is for wantotrav. To get to the Tappan Zee Bridge from Danbury, CT you must exit 84 at exit 20 heading west bound to 684 to 287. You cannot get to the Tappan Zee Bridge if you stay on 84 West. You would cross the Hudson and be in Newburg, NY. Once you are on 684 you can either stay on this to 287 or exit onto the Saw Mill Parkway and then pick up 287 outside of White Plains, NY.
