June trip to Dewey Beach from NYC

A few friends of mine and I are thinking of heading to Dewey Beach from NYC (we're all between the ages of 21-25) we are aiming to leave on a Thursday in June and return on a Monday, to make for 4 night stay there. To be honest, we're looking to just unwind and relax on the beach as well as go a little wild and party Hoping to meet some single girls and just enjoy the weekend. Heard it's nicknamed the "Spring Break for Adults" and that 1000s of people flock there on summer weekends. Is this the case? How packed does it get, we would love for alot of people to be there, but not if its too the point we can't move in any of the bars we go to haha. Also are there things to do in the day? Any type of pool/beach parties? We are looking to rent a beach house or something along those lines because at first glance the hotel rates seem a bit steep. Also our other options were Virginia Beach and Ocean City.

Any advice would be great advice

Thank you

June is not crazy crowded. You will likely have trouble with a 4 day rental but no law against a week rental and leaving early. No info on beach or pool parties.
