Rehoboth during the 4th of July week

I am going to be staying in Rehoboth Beach from Sunday June 30th thru Saturday July 6th, which is right over the 4th of July. How will the crowds be? I don't mind moderate crowds, but I just hope it's not bursting at the seams kind of crowded! Did I pick a bad week?

In my opinion it is pretty busy that week. Also busy are memorial day & labor day weeks.

July 4th is one of the busiest weeks at RB. The bars are packed, the restaurants are the busiest. It can still be a great time though, as they have a great firework display. Few items. Depending on where you are staying--- Parking! If you have a dedicated parking place, great. If not and are in Rehoboth proper, try to find a spot and walk everywhere, especially on July 3dr as it may be possible not to find parking anywhere! The other thing, is if you have a few restaurants you want to go to, and they take reservations, then book in advance. Hope this helps and enjoy

Thanks for the advice! I will take all of that into consideration. At least I am staying right in the heart of Rehoboth, so any where I go in Rehoboth, my car can stay put.

If you have a location from which you can walk to beach, boardwalk and dining it is a great week. If you have to drive and park maybe not.

It is definitely the busiest week of the season, BUT we are a tourist town and can handle it. We get about 80,000 people for the fireworks on the Fourth, so it's a little crazy, but tons of fun. You'll have a ball! Just make reservations for your dinners, or plan take out. Enjoy.
