Conference at Boca Raton Resort and Beach- What other hotels

We have an upcoming conference at the Boca Raton Beach and Resort (Waldorf Astoria). I read several negative reviews on Trip Advisor and am not excited about staying here. I would like to find some other alternatives but would need to be very close in order to attend the conference. I would appreciate any suggestions.

If you have a car you could stay a few miles north in Delray Beach. There are a several nice options - The Delray Marriott or The Colony Hotel & Cabanas.

Not sure of the length of your stay but you may be able to find a private condo or home to rent in the Boca/Delray area

The Boca Raton Beach & Resort is known to be a nice place to stay while in Boca but it is a resort and a high priced resort at that.

Hope it all works out!

Maybe you could go a very short distance south to Deerfield Beach where there is a very nice Embassy Suites, recently remodeled and right on the beach. I think the closest hotel to the Boca Raton Resort is the Radisson Bridge, but I really cannot recommend it- pretty dated.
