North West Cape Coral

Hi there,

We've traveled to Florida the last few years but never to the Cape Coral area. We are considering a villa rental for a couple of weeks March 2015, it is in North West Cape Coral. I am just unsure of the area. Which area of Cape Coral would you recommend? Is North West a good place to be?

Thanks so much!

If you will be going to the beach, the nearest good beach will be at Ft. Myers Beach. Cape Coral is mainly a residential area with inland canals at the back of many of the houses with access to the open Gulf. This is good if you have a boat ... you can tie it up at the back of the house.

I'd personally stay in the South East area anywhere below the Cape Coral Parkway. Do a Google Map search for 'Rumrunners' and try and be as close to that area as possible. Easy access out on to the Gulf and easy access to some restaurants, bars and shops.
