Top of the World in Clearwater

We have a chance to rent a condo at Top of the World in Clearwater for a month. Was just wondering how this resort is and how far to Orlando. Trying to decide on one of the winter months to go. Any advice.

Thanks.

The drive time to Orlando will be at least 1.5 hours - more likely 2 - depending on the day and time of day. The traffic you'll likely encounter will be driving out of Clearwater and then passing through Tampa.

Thanks Chuts, I had an idea it would be that long. Do you know anything about Top of the World condos?

Top Of The World condos in Clearwater. I would not call a resort. It is a condo development of elderly residents. I would guess it is mostly year round residents, 65+ years old. Not really in a touristy area. Mostly houses nearby, a close shopping center with a Publix grocery, liquor, sandwich place, Old Navy, CompUSA.

Clearwater Beach is about a 15-20 minute drive from TOTW. It is a very nice active beach with fun restaurants, shopping, great beach, activities etc.

As Chuts said, the Disney area is a 1.5 - 2 hour drive.

MarkBee - thanks for all the helpful info! I've scanned some of the websites but have to take time to go back and look them over more thoroughly. We want to come in February or March, so will have to get moving.

Thanks to Chuts, also, for the info.
