Live music at Cocoa Beach

DH and I are headed down to Cocoa Beach for some R&R right after Christmas. Any suggestion for live music and/or dancing for the over 40's set. Many thanks!

Go to Port Canaveral.Several good places to eat and listen to music. Grills, Fishlips, and rustys for food and music and Redheads music only.

The red tide is a natural happening. It is caused by algae blooming in the water. It causes itching and coughing but no health hazzards.

I was at the beach yesterday and it is gone. Come on down.

Wouldn't recommend Port Canveral for the over 40's its young, remote, and run down. There are a couple of seaside/open air bars in the old town area of Cocoa Beach (3 miles south of the pier)that have live bands that play Buffet, Bob Marley and god awful 70's music. The bands are alright it is just that 70's rock anthem music thats bad. You will find people over 40+ listening and dancing. Ask someone at your hotel for the name of those waterfront bars
