Somewhere else after Cocoa Beach

We are coming to Cocoa Beach the end of May for a week. We were looking for something else to do for a couple of days before we head back to the parks in Orlando. It will be myself and my husband and we also enjoy something to do at night. Thanks for your help.

How about St. Augustine, just up the coast?

St. Augustine is an interesting, if somewhat touristy, place, so that's a good idea. Another would be to go back to Orlando but concentrate on areas away from the parks, such as Winter Park, Mt. Dora, and even the restaurants and museums around downtown. You will see a very different face of Orlando comapred to the theme parks and I-Drive.

Or, if you need even more beach time, you could head over to the west coast to compare the Gulf waters with the Atlantic Ocean. The Sarasota area, including the barrier islands there, has a lot to offer, although it's not as laid-back as Cocoa Beach.

I agree with the St. Augustine idea. Its a nice place to visit with a little history and a downtown area where ou can walk to many things. Also if you like nature you could visit a couple of Florida's natural springs. Here is the link showing locations. http://www.floridasprings.org/
