Lori Wilson Park

Hi there,

Headed to CB for a day trip in Sept. Coming from Disney area.

Does Lori Wilson Park offer restaurant options, as well as chair and umbrella rentals?

2 parents traveling with a toddler.

Thanks!

Lori Wilson Park Beach usually has some fast food carry-out options available during season; I think that should go well into September. However, there are no restaurants (full menu, table service) in the park itself. There are hundreds of restaurants of all types along highway A1A both north and south of the park, including several within walking distance.

There are picnic tables in the park.

There are chair and umbrella rentals there. On this forum, see the post from earlier today for some other options.

In your opinion, which is a better option, cocoa beach pier, or Lori Wilson? I'm looking for a beach with some shops, restaurants, and umbrella/chair rentals......thanks!!!!

Cocoa Beach Pier might be a more lively option for singles or young couples, with more of a surfer vibe, beach volleyball, and a handful of restaurants, shops, and bars. However, don't expect a boardwalk atmosphere, with shop after shop.

Lori Wilson will have more of a family atmosphere than the pier. On weekends, downtown Cocoa Beach (around the east end of Minutemen Causeway) becomes more of a party scene, with action on the beach during the day, and some evening social activity around the bars (not really clubbing, but still fun).

There are equipment rentals available at all three beaches.
