Kroger?

I'm heading to Daytona beach Friday for my first trip there. Is there a Kroger in the area? I have several gift cards I would like to use for groceries.

Sorry, no Krogers. We have Publix which are similiar. That doesn't help much with the gift cards though.

No Kroger. Be aware that grocery prices are high in the Daytona area so take any food with you that you can and use Dollar General while there. Publix and Winn Dixie are both high.

They aren't any higher in Daytona than in Orlando.

No Krogers for the gift cards, but there is nothing wrong with Publix.

I found Aldi Market has better prices than Publix. Located in Holly Hill Plaza, corner of Mason Avenue and North Nova Road.

If we want to go to a Supermarket on our way from Orlando Sanford to Daytona, could you advise it there is there a handy one. We'll only be looking for a tray of water and some snacks but last time ended up going to the petrol station and it was quite expensive. We're staying at Nautilus Inn if that affects the route.

I haven't been near the Sanford Airport in some time. I do know there is a Publix on Beville Road if you are not going to use US 92 going into Daytona. There are also a couple in the Orange City/DeBary area. You may want to check their web site for the most convenient store for your route.

If that's all you're looking for you should probably just stop into a Walgreen's or CVS store. Depending on the route you take you'll go by at least 3 or 4. Their prices should be comparable or less than Publix. Of course stopping off at Publix isn't a bad idea either.
