Question for Snowbirds

Hi - will be visiting in late January for 1 week and want to look at places to rent for month of January 2008

Need an efficiency on beach for 1 person (activities would be plus)

Prefer motel/resort and not to rent a condo from VRBO or other owner rental websites unless someone can highly recommend a condo rental that they have stayed in (supply VRBO #).

Please exclude those by arranged by Mary Moates and Stephanie Jones

Where do you stay?

Hi Visitor,

Sounds as if you were not happy at the Hawaiian Inn in a recent stay.

Why don't you check out Daytona Beach Resort & Confernece Center -- 2700 N Atlantic Av, x from Bell Aire plaza.

There are models for sale -- so you can take a look at rooms that are available.

If you like the resort check VRBO - as there are several owners who rent themselves.

DBR is great. I rented from Stephanie in Oct. and it was perfect as it has been every time I have rented from her. Don't know about Mary and haven't been down at the HI but the privately owned rooms in DBR are very nice.

Go to http://www.daytonabeach.com

Click on the listing of all hotels in Daytona Beach - they all have websites and rate information - and a lot have monthly rates.

Make a list of those that you are interested in - in the areas you like - and check them out when you come down to Daytona! You will find exactly what you want, what you want to pay in the area you want to stay!

Daytona has a lot of hidden surprises.
