Does anyone have a recommendation for activities, events or restaurant for New Years Eve 2017/2018 in Delray Beach, FL?
The city of Delray runs a New Years Eve celebration from 5 to 9 PM. So while it's not like the ball drop in Times Square, it certainly is something to do that evening, especially when combined with dinner. They have a lot of family friendly activities...ice skating, face painting, etc.
Boca raton resort is fun. Stay there over night and enjoy their live concert, buffet, and private fireworks. Every year they have live performances from different past famous artists or one- hit wonders, its fun. It can be a little pricey, but its a great time to check in the hotel for a night or 2 and have a great NYE!Edited: 01 November 2017, 06:24
I am wondering the same so glad you asked
Delray Beach is the place to be on 12-31. Music, children's activities, high end dining, blocked off the Atlantic Ave. street so parking is a little tough. Go early and park away from Atlantic Ave. the police will start to block off all the streets early including Federal Highway both ways so prepare. last year we took the bus early to see everything then left early. Two years ago we parked far away from Atlantic Ave. walked a long way! Parking is now available in various lots for $5 or,$10. Not just the municipal lots which get filled really early.
High end dining like Tramonte, the Rack, Buddha Sky Lounge will require reservations for after 5:30 PM and the closer to 9 PM, the prices go up. Complete NYE packages are expensive and will be over $100 per person.
Plenty of street food for less. Families will enjoy a pizza, a sub at Al's, ice cream at Kilwins.
