The Beach Villas at Destiny

We are going to Destin in a couple of weeks and staying at the Beach Villas at Destiny. Where is this - is it a separate area called Destiny? Part of Crystal Beach area? Is it considered on the east side of Destin? What is the best way in (I guess traffic is an issue?) when we come? More crowded than the "regular" Destin beaches? (Sorry for so many questions at once - but thanks for the help!)

It is considered the east section of Crystal beach. (Crystal beach isn't that big, but doens't that sound funny, the east section). It is right across the street from the Crab Trap. I understand there is a little tunnel that enables you to go right to the beach without crossing Scenic Gulf Drive.

The beaches may be a bit crowded there because the Crab Trap is located at a State park. Parking, a rare thing is available there.

If you are coming across the toll bridge (mid bay bridge), turn left on Hwy 98. At the First Red light, Crystal beach drive, turn right (toward the Beach). Resortquest will be on the corner. Go the couple of blocks until the road ends at the beach. Turn left, east, and go maybe a mile at most a mile and a half and they are on the left hand side right past the crab trap restaurant. A cut row of two story cottages with a lake in the back.

Please enjoy your trip!
