what is a Whale's Tail? We are traveling to Destin next weekend and it will be our very first trip. I was curious about the comment Whale Tail.

Thank you,

Wales Tail is a restaurant that burned down last spring due to a kitchen fire. Over the summer they maintained a beach bar, but it was reported there were issues over permits, etc. They were expected to begin construction this month on rebuilding the upstairs. It is located in Miramar Beach, east of Destin proper.

even before the fire you were not missing much< they needed a permit to learn how to pour a beer and stop using styrofoam cups for draft beer.
