Is Theo's pizza pub still open? What are the best pizza joints in Destin?

Theo's is gone since last August.

We usually do Jordano's or Mellow Mushroom

Mello Mushroom has one of the best beer selections in the area, and great pizza too! I would check them out. I have had Jordano's. It's good if you are looking for delivery. Also, Ciao Bella @ Silver Sands is delicious.

no real per say pizza pubs but really close is fat daddys in santa rosa beach - average type pizza ( consider myself a pizza pro since i was born/raised in chicago )but FAT DADDYS has 6 large creen tv's for march madness, 70 cent PBR beer , 1.00 bud , 2.00 red stripe.....

my favorite place for pizza is miramar beach - cabana cafe fresh and damn good

Fat Daddy's lunch buffet cannot be beaten! Great pizza, friendly staff- weird strip mall location but it works! And yes, multiple televisions for watching the games.

I'll pass on Mellow Mushroom, we love Ciao Bella. Fat Clemenza's is terrific, but it seems a shame to only get pizza there with the other wonderful food they have.

What about pizza at Sauce????

I would be looking for some really 'italian' pizza... not americanized pizza. Not 'ragu' sauce, and not rubber (Kraft) mozzarella cheese.

A somewhat crispy, but still soft and chewy inside, crust. Not 'cracker' thin and crispy.

I am thinking maybe Fat Clemenza's?

But, the totally black char from the fire brick oven that I am hearing about. ??????
