Fun places to eat with young kids

Hi, my family and I (kids aged almost 4 and 5) arrive Monday, staying 5 nights at Lago Mar. We will have a car and as such wandered where is recommended for casual, American dining. Views of the beach would be awesome too. I’m already thinking Cheesecake Factory and possibly Lulus Baitshack if it’s a place that allows kids. Many thanks!

Fifteenth St Fisheries has tarpon fish swimming under the docks that the kids can feed.- at least I hope they are still there after the hurricane.. they may have gone into hiding.

Jaxson's Ice cream just south of FLL is a great magnet for families , but has food as well as giant ice cream. treats

Not a food opportunity, but great for kids that age

Well it's off the beaten path and a bit hard to find, but have breakfast ( my preference) or lunch at Jet Runway Cafe.. It's at our smaller Executive Airport where small private planes land as well as a take off area for things like our Sheriff Dept. Helicopters. Your table overlooks the busy runways through large windows - always some activity and you are very close to it all- food is terrific as well. Check the days and hours- I think it is closed one day-maybe Sundays...

Note to Pompano DE JD- your grandsons would love this place...

I would skip Cheesecake Factory and go across the street to Big City Tavern.

Roccos Tacos is also good on Las Olas.

LuLus would be a blast for the kids because it is oceanfront.

Check out Aruba in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. It is oceanfront.

Lastly, take the kids to Park & Ocean in Birch State Park. Same guys who did Beauty & The Feast so the food is fantastic and it overlooks the ocean and lots of games for the kids.

Bubba Gumps on the beach (at the Courtyard by Marriott) might be another place for you to bring the kids..

I agree with Lulu that Jaxson's would be a hit with the kids!
