Dolphins

Is there any particular spot that I would be able to see dolphins, in their natural environment. I saw them in CA, and thought it was the coolest thing ever, and of course did not have a camera.

I've seen them at Clearwater Beach and something with a dorsal fin popped up in the intracoastal this afternoon, looked more like a small shark than a dolphin though.

Dolphins are mainly a Gulf Coast thing. We've seen them several times near St. Pete, never on this coast though.
