Pink shell pool question

We are staying at the Pink Shell Easter week. I know there is 3 pools. We have teens that don't care which one we use. Are the smaller 2 pools not as crowded as the large pool if the hotel is at capacity or near?

The three pools are the main Octopus pool and two smaller "quiet" pools. The Octopus pool has fountains, waterfall, zero entry and is considered the kids' pool. The two others, while not designated as adult only, are considered to be. The quiet pools will likely be less busy, but if your teens want to cannonball or roughhouse, they should probably go to the main pool. The smaller pools are for those who want to lounge quietly and read.

That is good because we are more the quiet reading crowd. We use cards we can play in the water, read etc. With teens, we are NOT into the kids scene or the busy spring break crowd, they are 18, 17 and 15.

We found out later in the week that our favorite pool was the one to the far right (if you are facing the ocean.) The water was especially warm and it was quiet.

The main Octopus pool is very cool looking but we enjoyed the other one better and so did my son.

Make sure you try lots of restaurants, there are some great ones in the area. Our strategy was to take the free trolley in the morning for breakfast, return and relax and eat by the Octipool for lunch and then go somewhere nice for supper, off-site. Our favorite was Charlie's steakhouse. Great food, drink, service and a salad bar. It seems like a hidden gem and was always busy so don't go too late or you will have to wait.
