Spring Break in Fort Myers Beach

Does anyone know what dates the traditional "spring break" is this year and if Fort Myers Beach will be particularly "boisterous" that week?? We are planning Fort Myers Beach in late April or early May, and while not "party poopers" would prefer to visit at the quieter time!!

That is a great time to visit. The beach quiets down after easter and by May it is not crowded at all.

May is perfect....it's pretty dead around here starting May because the snowbirds are on their way back north and the busy season is over by then.

I would say Spring Break peaks in FMB (as well as every locale hosting such whether Miami Beach or Panama City, South Padre island, TX, etc.) in second and third weeks of March. That is when most colleges schedule their spring breaks. I will be in FMB March 12 to the 16th then onto Miami Beach too! Heard it is 44 degrees in both locales this morning!! Hope it warms up in a week!! YOWZA!!
