Tiki Bars

Driving to Key West from Miami. Would like to know the best Tiki Bars to stop along the way for food and drinks. Just want to enjoy our time in the Keys.

Many place in the keys are not so much tiki bars as they are open air Bar/ Restaurant combinations. Alabama Jacks is popular to start off your keys experience. Lor e Lei is hit & miss on food and service but has that tiki bar ambience and usually has someone playing some music. Whale Harbor also in Islamorada has an upstairs bar overlooking the harbor where the charter boats dock. Sparkys is in Key Colony Beach and is waterfront with good food. Burdines, Keys Fisheries, etc. There are lots of little places to stop along the way. If you research a little on the Florida Keys forums you will see lots of itineraries for stops on the way to Key West.

In addition to the earlier mentioned and in order of travel: Jimmy Johnson's Big Chill in Key Largo,

Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in Islamorada, Lorelei Cabana Bar and Restaurant in Islamorada,

Chiki Tiki Bar and Grille at Burdines Waterfront in Marathon, Sunset Grill & Raw Bar in Marathon, Hog Fish Bar and Grill on Stock Island (as you drive into KW).

Enjoy....
