Hotels for driving holiday

Anyone help with cheap and comfortable hotels miami through the keys on a driving holiday? Are there any hotel or motel chains at all?

Hoping to book in advance.

Thanks

What area(s) are you looking to stay? There are 110 miles of possibilities.

There are several chains as well as many great small privately owned properties.

Cheap? Not sure what cheap is for you. Time of year is going to make a HUGE difference in price. If you're coming September - early December, things will cost less then coming February.... etc.

More info from you will help A LOT with answering. Like above said, over 110 miles of the Keys and the beginning is Key Largo which is an hour from MIA.

Have a look at the different Keys and tell us where you would like to stay. Generally the Keys are pretty expensive for hotels. We stayed in Key West in May and our room cost over £200 a night. There is a Holiday Inn in Key Largo and a Hampton but neither are what I would call cheap. Have a look at the hotel reviews on TA for the various Keys to get an idea of prices.
