Does anyone know if you can rental snorkeling equipment at the state park to snorkel off shore? And if so, is it any good?
Key Biscayne is wonderful, but perhaps not the best place in Florida to go snorkeling. You can see a few colored fish in the rocks protecting the lighthouse, but the current is strong and the Park Rangers frown upon guests getting shredded by the rocks due to the tide. The beach has either a sand or grass bottom and if you pay attention you can see all sorts of sea life.
