The article is very elitist, but I supposes that's just the NYT. There is nothing wrong with karaoke and margaritas, which get brief but disparaging mention. Moreover, there was no mention of everything else that KW offers, from fishing to parasailing to golf to simply walking to museums to a thousand other pursuits. Finally, to omit all of the bourgeois fun of Sunset Celebration or SWB or Green Parrot or a hundred other places to be misses the point of KW. The point is that it is for everyone. The NYT continues to cater to a readership which, I submit, is a pretty limited slice of society.
