Best Mojito and "Best Specialty" Drinks. Where to go?

I have recently become addicted to Mojito's. Want to try them out in Key West when I arrive for a long weekend in April. All of you drinkers out there---Point me in the direction to your favorite place!

Not really a martini person however I will probably have to try these also.

After lurking forever, I HAD to finally post after seeing this topic! If you can find Mr. Mojito, you are in luck.

Tracey's awesome blog will explain it better than I can:

There may be better mojitos on the island, but I can tell you that Mr. Mojito's was so good, that as soon as I bought mine, I got back in line to enjoy it as I was waiting for my second one. All of this as the sun was setting behind us. AWESOME out of body experience!

The mojitos at El Meson de Pepe and Louie's After deck were killer. We were at Louie's early and not many others on the deck (6-8) We sat at the bar and tipped well. I'm assuming that was it because the barkeep hooked us up !!

I had the prevoiusly read about "Mr Mojito " over by the Mal Sq having the very best on the island but we failed to find him. He is still a phanthom to us,so we'll continue our search next time down : )

He works out of a cart, which I believe is behind the Westin. The cart is about the size of the Garbo's cart, and unless I am mistaken, it is almost halfway between the back of the hotel and the waterfront railing. The regulars can tell you better than I can, though. Hmm, getting thirsty for some reason..

Somehow the mojitos at El Meson de Pepe seem better 'cause of the live music and the outside bar.

The best cocktails on the island are at the Orchid Bar in the Orchid Key hotel. Saturday nights they are especially good.

I can get a drink all over the island. If I want a cocktail, I go to the Orchid Bar.

The Tree Bar...interact with the bartender and the second one is even better!
