One night stopover stay - Islamorada

Looking for recommendations for a one night stay during our travels through the Keys. Looking for someplace affordable and clean, thanks.

We've stayed at the Key Lantern a couple of times and found it to suit us. The rooms we've stayed in had kitchenettes which really worked well with a food allergy. We cooked right in our room instead of chancing getting sick at a restaruant. It's a couple blocks to Lorelei if you want to get out of the room and socialize for a bit.

Kon Tiki has a couple of small rooms that are great for a night.

Sands of Islamorada and Pines and Palms are worth a look too.

The Hampton Inn is a great spot. Pricing varies significantly by season.

Walking distance to Lazy Days, my favorite Islamorada restaurant.

We've stayed at The Hampton Inn and Chesapeake Beach Resort and enjoyed them both very much. Hampton is more upscale, but Chesapeake has a more laid back feel and more amenities. They both have continental breakfast, are on the water, and have a pool/hot tub area. I would definitely recommend either!

We have stayed at The Hampton, Pines and Palms, and The Islander. I like the Islander - several really nice pools...on the Atlantic side across from the Lorelei.....

Agree re. Kon Tiki; stayed one night, not fancy but quiet- have a great area in the center with palm trees, tables and hammocks- got carry out pizza up the street, a bottle of wine, and had a quiet dinner out there- nice change from restaurants.
