Do All resorts have resort fee+parking+fee for wireless?

We going to the Mecum auto action for a few days end of January. No hotels near that site are acceptable.(travel lodge, HJ,etc) looking for a 4* nicer place. Have seen some good deals on hot wire & Last Minute Travel, but on top of their price it seems like most every resort has a resort fee from 20-30$ parking fees from 15-30$ and wireless fees from 10-15 per day. jeez.. Are there any 4* 's that don't charge for one or more of those fees? Looking for South of Orlando, near Kissimmee east of Disney.

No, not all resorts have resort fees and parking fees. Not a lot of quality accommodations near Osceola Heritage Park. Turn your sights toward the more traditional attractions area. It'll be about 25-30 minutes or so across 192 which is riddled with signal lights. There is a brand new Embassy Suites on Kyngs Heath Road. Haven't visited it yet, but it's new, and would be one of the shortest commutes. I know parking is free. Would have to check on the rest. Not sure how far you are willing to drive.

update~ booked I think a pretty good deal through Last Minute Travel- Hilton Bonnet Creek - has very good reviews on TA. they do have a 22$ resort fee and daily parking fee, but at least the wireless is included in the resort fee. LMT cost 123 + 22 + 15 = 160. Fair enough for a decent hotel!

I know it will be a 25-30 min drive, but thats ok, considering whats closer!

Was looking at the Embassy Suites, do like them as well, but on LMT, this seemed the better deal.

That's a nice hotel. It is peacefully remote within the Disney road entrances. Do be aware you will have to drive out for everything. There is nothing walkable. Would allow about 40 minutes or so for your first commute until you see how long it takes in traffic.

Marcia,

The Hilton Bonnet Creek is a very nice hotel.

Virtually all the hotels with convention space or near either WDW or Universal charge for parking. The only hotels of similar quality closer to OHP are the Marriott World Center, the Gaylord Palms and the Caribe Royale. I don't know if the Caribe charges for parking, but the others do. the Ritz Carlton J W Marriott Grande Lakes is about the same distance and has only a little more traffic.

Your GPS will probably send you all the way down 192 to get to OHP. Do not even think about it. Take Osceola Parkway (toll) to Michigan Ave. (One traffic light before the Turnpike with WalMart and McDonalds on your left) Make a right. Go south five or six traffic lights until you hit 192 and make a left.

Enjoy the auction. I drove by there today and the tents are just starting to go up.
