Customs time, connecting flight?

Flying back from a trip to St. Lucia thru Miami before heading for the 2nd half of our vacation in Key West. Have 2 hours between flights. Will this be enough time to clear customs? We are flying into Miami at 6:30 pm on a Mon night.

2 hours would normally be enough for most airports but Miami airport is in a class by itself as so many international flights use it. Of course you can always drive to Key West ... it is a very scenic drive in the daytime.

Yeah, done the drive a few times. Have a rental car reserved just in case.

You should be OK as you are an American citizen and the lines clear much quicker - You would be very unlucky to miss it at that time.
