james avenue?

hi, we have 2 nights in a hotel on james avenue in sept but i can't find it on the maps, is it behind washington avenue? it says it's near lincoln road mall and 17th street. maybe it's a small road?

as we are only there 2 days are there any must see's? i guess we'll go to the beach just to say we've been lol, and don't really want to shop all day,

is this near art deco district? would rather see some sights than waste time not knowing where to go

also any good places for the eve's not night clubs as we're too old and ugly for that! (50), good bars, people watch?

thanks

it's crest suite hotel, i've just found james ave on a map, after trawling thru lots of posts for ideas, we usually take a few days to settle in to a place but as we only have 2 nights don't want to waste time wondering what to do

thanks

James Avenue is just west of Collins - a perfectly good location in South Beach. If you take the Airport Flyer bus, you can get off on Collins at whatever numbered street coincides with the address of your hotel (if your hotel is 1801, get off at the stop closest to 18 Street and walk west).

Nearby, find Lincoln Road Mall shopping promenade for bars, cafes, restaurants day and night.

My guide should help you sort out the rest:

we will have a car but want to just leave it in the car park, think there's one on 17th st, for the time we're there.

hotel is 1670 so i presume it's nearer 17th st?

have been reading and making notes on lots of your post, you really are an expert!!

thanks

There are happy hours available 7 nights a week -

Once you drop your bags at the hotel, drive west up 17 Street and just past the symphony park is a garage entrance next to the restaurant Oolite 1661 Pennsylvania Ave (which is new and very good).
