time to walk to Haulover Beach

Is it really a 50 minute bus ride from South Beach to Haulover Beach.

Google maps said like a 3 hour walk one way from south beach to Haulover ? is that true. i am a fast walker though?

i was considering walking there so i can experience coastline as i enjoy walking barefoot along beaches.

Haulover Beach is lots of fun and a dedicated stretch of the north end is a legally nude beach. If you want to get there from South Beach, a bus or taxi is best.

If you simply want to enjoy the coast, walk out to South Beach and have a wander north or south and see how you like it. ALL our beaches are lovely and you can walk along the sand, the promenade, the boardwalk and find many hotel pool bars to cool off en route.

I think it will take well over 4 hours if you walk on the sand. Still, may be of some interest. You may find this link interesting. This guy walked from Key Biscayne to near Ft. Lauderdale keeping as much to the sand as possible. Took two days:
