I'll be in Naples for 3 days. I want to enjoy the scenery and the local flavor. Other than the Everglades, what does anyone suggest?

Definitely try and catch a sunset at the beach if the weather permits. They are beautiful.

Lunch or dinner and shopping downtown.

I second The Conservancy. Take the boat tour while there. Also, try to catch a sunset cruise on The Double Sunshine that leaves out of Tin City.

An alternative sunset event is one sponsored by the Conservancy; it's a wonderful cruise on Rookery Bay for wildlife and bird watching. It a delight to see thousands of birds (pelicans, ibis, herons, etch) returning to their rookeries at sunset. It's $25 and leaves about an hour before sunset.
