It would be quite a walk to the beaches from your hotel but there is ample parking at all the beaches, remember to bring quarters for the meters. The beaches are lovely and clean might be worth buying a couple of cheap beach chairs from the local walmart or publix, unless the hotel hires them out. You usually see dolphins where ever you are along the coast, and remember there are fish in the sea. Lowdermilk park is a good place to park just near the Edgewater Hotel....laura

As Laura states, you are not walking distance to any beaches. Be sure to have lots of quarters for the parking meters when going to most beaches.

Vanderbilt Beach, Wiggins Pass Beach and Clam Pass Beach have manned parking lots and you can pat a flat fee.
