I'm not sure where "Museo Cir" is but I recommend ... Isles of Capri there are 3-4 nice small restaurants. And on the islands they have the Blue Herron for a "special occasion" dinner (it is not cheap).

Definately check out Isle of Capri. The Fiddler's Creek club house serves Allen Bros. steaks and is supposed to be very good. There are many restaurants on Marco Island. What do you like to eat?

Well we enjoy American, Mexican, & Seafood. In Naples we go to Tommys, Chops, CheeseCake Factory ect. Will have two children with us so no place real fancy.Never have been out in Isles of Capri or Marco so looking for someplace new. Have a few in mind that we found here on TA.

If you enter your address on www.mapquest.com, not only will you be able to see the exact location of your accommodations, but several search engines will appear will listing of nearby restaurants, bars, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.

Naples extends for almost 10 miles north along US41 and about 5 miles east from where you are located (don't make me take an oath on those numbers). Downtown Naples(5th Ave and 3rd Street) Naples is lined with restaurants as is US 41 heading North and East, Marco Island has many restaurants, and you have received recommendations for the Isles of Capri/Fiddlers Creek area (fairly limited but good). The choices are too numerous to list here. You might want to do some research here on TA in the forum and the restaurant review sections and/or provide a bit more guidance than "good restaurant choices". It is impossible to be truly helpful without knowing what kind of cuisine interests you, the kind of ambiance you are looking for, and your budget before making any recommendation.

Have a wonderful trip -- the folks here on TZ will try hard to make it enjoyable for you.

Another place for good restaurants would be Goodland which is just east of Marco Island. It's a bit more laid back with most places directly on the water. We like Old Marco Lodge, but there are several others. On Sundays take in Stans Idle Hour for a real party atmosphere.

Some of my choices:

1. Snook Inn-- www.snookinn.com 1215 Bald Eagle on Marco. No trip to Marco is complete without at least one visit. There is a Chickee bar, live music and a very relaxed atmosphere. Above average bar food.

2. Verdis Bistro-- www.verdisbistro.com 243 N. Collier on Marco. Culinary adventure at a good value. Dressy casual.

3. Little Bar www.littlebarrestaurant.com 205 Harbor Place in Goodland. Cozy restaurant with the charm of old Marco. Wonderful seafood and fresh catch of the day specials. Dessert features key lim pie and peanut buttter pie.

4. CJ's on the Bay for happy hour from 4-7. Live entertainment Thurs., Fri., and Sat. Sunday buffets.

5. Upscale:

Mareks www.mareksrestaurant.com

Cafe De Marco www.cafedemarco.com

Sale E Pepe--Marco Beach Ocean Resort

6. Take home seafood: Paradise Seafood www.paradiseseafoodmarco.com 721 Bald Eagle on Marco--cannot say enough good about the wonderful fresh seafood and steaks you can buy here. The staf is absolutely wonderful. They will put together a seafood meal in parchment paper that is so wonderful. You take your bounty home and cook it there. The staff will tell you how to cook it. They have a great wine selection.

On Isle of Capri: Capri Fish House; Pelican Bend.

7. Carrabbas--intersection of 41 and 951. Chain restaurant but definately worth the stop for authentic Italian.

I agree that Snook Inn & Capri FIsh House would be a great places to go - they have the authentic outdoor FL feel to it. Also, if your kids are young, try Joe's Crab Shack on 41 heading towards downtown Naples...it is a chain however, is located on the water & really caters to kids.
