First Trip to Naples - Need Your Help

Hi All, travelling with my girlfriend in September. We have never been on a long trip together, so I want to make this one special. A few questions:

1) What's the weather like? How bad is the rainfall mid-sept (15-22)?

2) Any inexpensive boat rides we could take as a tourist attraction? Prefer power/speed boats over a cruise-type ride

3) Great Italian restaurant, romantic, maybe with a view of the water?

Her place is right near Marco Island.

The month of September is characterized by constant daily high temperatures, with daily highs around 88°F throughout the month, The relative humidity typically ranges from 59% to 94%, and could rain any day for a short period of time. Keep in mind it will still be hurricane season, weather will change drastically if one is anywhere near the area.

Speed Boat tour:

Pazzo Cucina Italiana, for Italian food, sorry can't think of any Italian restaurant on the water.

Waterfront dinning maybe either Pinchers or Riverwalk at Tin City

Have a great trip!!!

Campiello's on Third Street is the best Italian food in Naples, but is not on the water (I don't believe any Italian restaurants are in Naples.) But it has a lovely and large outdoor terrace. September begins high season again so you may want to make reservations. La Playa has a restaurant on the beach but that will be quite far from your place near Marco Island.

If you walk the pier behind Tin City near Docks, you can pick the boat you would like to take a ride on. There are signs with phone numbers for each captain - that way you can see what you will be getting!
