Will January be beach and pool weather Naples?

Just wondering if the water is warm enough this time of year for kids? Thank you....

Water in the gulf in the high 60s right now, kids probably won't mind it.

Have Fun!

the weather is iffy in January. Could be great, could be cold. However, the Gulf won't be bad, and kids are much better about that than we are!. On an off day, take them to Jungle Larry's in Naples(its not really called that anymore except by those of us who have been going there forever!), or explore the Everglades, or take them in the morning or late day to Naples pier to watch the fisherman catch whatever (sometimes a shark!). If the Teddy Bear Museum is still there, try that. Or, just rent bikes and go for a ride - it's so flat everyone will go forever!

This temperature chart seems accurate for beach water temperatures:

Water temperatures can fluctuate. Air temperatures fluctuate, too, but the weather will be dry and sunny (with very few exceptions).

As indicated weather can be iffy however over the last 8 years I have been going to Naples in Dec. and Jan. I believe there was only one year we did not visit the pool. Most pools are heated and there is enough direct sun that you can enjoy yourself either pool side or on the beach (if it is not to windy). The best bet to too stay at a place that is on the beach with a pool. Many condo complexes offer this type of arrangement in Naples giving you the opportunity maximize your time in the sun. Gulf is a bit cool for me however I do not mind taking a walk in the surf, as with water temp in the 60's it is not bad.

Yes it will. You may have some chillier days (never know) but typically, yes, you will be able to get in the pool (most heated) and the kids are more resilient than us adults and are usually in the Gulf water playing. We've been going down to FL Dec./Jan. for last 6 yrs. Enjoy!
