Wheelchair Accessible Beach?

Hoping to bring my parents down for a visit. Would love to take them to the beach for a day. Are there any beaches that are wheelchair friendly?

thanks so much!

No standard wheelchair will roll easily on any of our gulf beaches - the sand is too soft. You'll have to get a special beach wheelchair like what is shown on this website: http://www.beachpowerrentals.com/

not motorized but can be used on beach, soft gravel and shallow water. They are located just off I-75 and Collier Blvd (951) in Naples

This website shows which beach access points are accessible. It won't help with the soft sand, but you can get to the sand without stairs over the dune. It does say that beach wheelchairs are available at Lowdermilk park. It also explains the parking stickers and lots.

Barefoot Beach in Bonita springs also has non-motorized beach wheelchairs available. I usually see one available to use near the restrooms near the first parking lot area.
