strategic hotel location for parks

We are planning a trip to Orlando late January, and would like to visit the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Universal Studios. What would be the best location for look for a hotel? We generally like at least 3 star hotels--can go 4 or more, depending on how pricey they run. Any suggestions?

Check out the Renaissance Sea World or the Rosen Shingle Creek for easy access to the roads that go to the parks.

Since you are doing 2 Disney parks, I would suggest you at least consider the Disney resorts. Even the Swan and Dolphin have deals. I have only stayed on Disney property once, but it's truly an experience everyone should consider. Downtown Disney has some nice choices as well. If you search for hotels (orbitz, expedia, etc), you can usually select by stars, which would give the choices. Bookit is good, and they have a lot of great deals on higher star properties.
