Evening Extra Magic Hours ?

I can understand how the Extra Magic Hours work in the morning, ie, you can't get in to the park early unless you can show that you are staying in a Disney resort or hotel.

However, I am not clear as to how the evening Extra Magic Hours work. If the park closing time is 10pm, are non-Disney residents sought out and escorted to the gate ?

Once you are in the park, how can they stop non-Disney residents from also enjoying the evening extra magic hours ?

Hopefully someone can explain this and it will become all too obvious.

1. Re: Evening Extra Magic Hours ?

Evening hours do work a little bit differently. Approximately 2 hours prior to park closing you may pick up at certain locations a wristband once you show resort ID. This wristband is shown to castmembers at the entrance to the venues prior to your being allowed to either see a show or ride a ride. So while no you won't be herded out you also will not be able to use any of the attractions.

Thanks SM. So simple really.

At least we can still enjoy the sights as we wander slowly to the exit. I think 10pm will be late enough for our 8 year old anyway.

Only three days to go.
