Hotel booking confirmation/Please help

I have booked a hotel over the internet and got my reciept to confirm booking, when i checked my booking it states one double bed, and only one person.

When i booked on the site i did state 1 double but for two persons, do you think i will have a problem when checking in?

Only i got this as the internet special rate, only staying one night.

All the rukles about changing booking or cancelling means i will lose my money-Fine print.

What do you think i should do? just go and hope they ask to pay for the extra person, i am again confused and worried about it, any help would be great.

Thank you all again.

Did you purchase the room on the hotel's website? Either way I would contact either the company you booked through or the hotel directly and ask them. Make sure you get a name when they confirm.

What hotel is it? I think that generally speaking, room rates are figured on 2 people maximum for 1 bed, 4 people max for 2 beds.

Some super-budget hotels may charge extra for more than 1 person, but it is usually only another $5-$10. If worst came to worse, they may increase your fee but it's not like they wouldn't let you stay.

I would call or email the hotel and ask. I just used Priceline for our stop on the way down and panicked because I thought we only had 1 bed for the 4 of us. I immediately called the hotel, they already had my reservation, and were able to assure me that we had a bed and a sofa sleeper.

Let it slide; there's usually no difference in price for one person vs. two people.

Front desk folks at checkin probably won't even notice.
