Have not a clue where to start accept ask TA experts?

We are Four adults from Canada who want to visit Florida for 2 weeks including flight time. We want to go mid march (hopes of low airfare). My questions are: the weather in March as to temperatures and rain, etc

We want to see Disneyworld, Sea World, and want to spend some time on a beach with warm breeze. Will accept every suggestion for activities and locations.

Types of accommodations that would be reasonable in price to accommadate four people. We would like a home, condo.

Would like to have good suggestions as to areas to stay while visiting DW and other activities nearby.

Would like to have suggestions of other areas to see and stay within our time frame.

Suggested time (days) for visiting DW.

Does anyone use a Florida Entertainment Book

For condo and villa accommodation the sites below may be of use. The last suggestion maybe able to offer you a little more help than just the accommodation.

www.vrbo.com

now back to your question (had to drive son to his soccer match lol)

I don't use a FK entertainment book but someone here probibly will have.

If you want a condo, and want to be nearby things, I would ask which is more importatn to you- being near Citywalk, Downtown Disney, or Idrive?

For DTD I would rec Cypress Pointe resort and Blue Heron in LBV. For Citywalk I would rec Vista Cay. Idrive I would rec HGVC or MGV. The first two in particular are walking distance to loads of bars restaurants shops and grocery/pharmacy. All have 2/3 bedrooms and full kitchens, fun pools and some resort facilities.

If you want a townhouse with hot tub/plunge pool or home with private pool, you won't be able to walk to anything, but I would rec Terre Verde or Windsor Hills but there are others nearby.

For a good beach, do you want to just drive to one, or stay there? Ft de Soto in St Petes is excellent for a day trip, st petes beach or Siesta Key would be good to go stay for a few nights. Both are on the gulf which tends to be a bit warmer but not always. If you want atlantic, try Cocoa Beach.

Amanx, forgive me but I am not good with the abreviations of words. I am having trouble with the abreviations you are using for some resorts I think on I drive. Sorry not big with the short text words, and would really appreciate a reply. Thanks,

Lookig at the reply it seems you still dont have a clue lol.

You say Condo or Home ,well for the Homes you would really need a car as they are mainly around the 192 or highway 27 area.

Some friends of ours stayed in a very nice resort with 2 and 3 bed condos its called Floridays its on the south end of International drive so quite central.

We stay in Villas just of the 192 in Kissimmee so google gated communites in the kissimme area if you like us want 24 hour security or just Kissimmee villas if your not fussed.

There are hundreds of villas and its great fun choosing one.

Lake Buena Vista area has lots of Condos and thats close to Disney but will still need a car .

Hazzle

You say in another post that you have decided to rent a car.....very good idea, it will give you the freedom to really enjoy your trip.....

With two weeks, you could spend the first week in the Orlando area visiting the theme parks and then a second week at the beach......

A drive up Highway A1A along the Atlantic beaches is wonderful and you can reach Saint Augustine or Amelia Island in less than 4 hour drive (even with all the interesting stops along the way).....lots of condos and homes to rent in the area and usually if you stay a full week in one place you will get a better deal on the rent......

You need to start planning in a hurry...That time of year is Spring Break and very busy in Florida. Alot of places are already booked.

Weather is usually mild but you chance the occassional cold front.

I'd do the Disney thing then head either to Clearwater area or St Augustine for the beach.
