thanks to chelly1 for ur reply. has any 1 had to go 4 an intaview at the us embassy in london? coz they hav any convictions even DRIVING!!!! mine is nothing serious, the holiday woman said its best to go thru the propa routes. if any 1 can shed any experiences on these situations plz help. chrz

this is from Marcus...in reply to your questions when you enter the building they will ask you straight away for your passport and letter with appointment details on, when you go for the interview/interviews they like straight forward answers the person interviewing you will ask you what you done why you did it and what the out come was..if you have been in court write to them and ask for a memorandom of convictions to be sent to you, if this is not possible and you still have your court papers with all the conviction details on take this , they will tell you there and then if you have a visa or not. you will be searched before you enter the building aswell. and the cafe inside the building is not cheap either.

As I understand it you don't need to obtain a visa from London U.S embassy for driving convictions. Get their number off their internet site and ring and ask they will answer any questions you have.Good luck.

If you have a criminal record you will not be allowed into tthe states ...If you have been arrested and not charged , IE drunk in the street , or brought to court and not guilty , you will be fine
